The Strategy Behind the Service
AIMF Assessment and Planning
At the Aziz Imdad Foundation (AIMF), we believe the difference between temporary relief and sustainable uplift lies in one essential ingredient: a deliberate, intelligent plan.
Our Assessment and Planning process is the compass that guides every project we launch, every service we provide, and every dollar we spend. It is the rigorous, behind-the-scenes work that transforms compassion into measurable change.
The mission of this process is clear: to ensure our resources are directed to the most pressing needs, that our solutions are both effective and culturally appropriate, and that our impact is not only felt today, but is sustained for generations to come.

How do you ensure you are not creating dependency?
We focus on empowerment, not dependency. Our programs are designed to build skills, strengthen community capacity, and create opportunities so that individuals and families can thrive independently.
01
Do you involve the local community in the planning process?
Yes. Our approach is community-led. From the first assessment to program design, we actively involve local voices to ensure solutions are relevant, respectful, and truly meet the needs on the ground.
02
Where can I read your annual impact reports?
We publish annual Impact Reports that detail outcomes, lessons learned, and financial transparency.
03
How much of my donation goes to “planning” versus direct aid?
Only a small fraction supports planning, but it multiplies the effectiveness of every dollar spent on direct aid. Strategic planning ensures that resources are targeted, impactful, and free from waste.
04
How do you measure long-term success?
We go beyond counting outputs like meals served or schools built. We track outcomes over years — improvements in livelihoods, resilience, and well-being — to ensure the change we create is durable and transformative.
