When should I go to the Emergency Department vs. an Urgent Care Clinic?
Come directly to the Emergency Department for life-threatening conditions such as chest pain, severe bleeding, breathing difficulty, loss of consciousness, stroke symptoms, or major injuries. For minor illnesses or routine care, urgent care or outpatient clinics may be sufficient.

Do I need to pay money before treatment starts in an emergency?
No. Life-saving treatment begins immediately. Financial matters are discussed only after the patient is stabilized.
